Wade LeBlanc got pounded in 1 1/3 innings against the Mariners in Seattle today and then was optioned to AAA Portland. It may just be LeBlanc's last hurrah. He has had two short stints at pitching in the major leagues and been pounded in each game this year and last.
Luis Perdomo came off the 15 Day DL to take his place on the 25 man roster.
The Padres next game is in Arlington against the Texas Rangers on Friday.

NL West now NL's Best
Thursday June 25, 2009
Don't look now, but the division of baseball once called the NL Worst is now the National League's winningest division.
Led by the Los Angeles Dodgers, the NL West leads all NL divisions with a .515 winning percentage (184-173). The 6 team NL Central is next at .497 (210-212) and the much lauded NL East, home of the defending World Series Champion Phillies, brings up the rear at .466 (164-188)
Only the AL East, home of the Yankees, Red Sox and defending AL Pennant winner Rays have a better winning percentage than the NL West at .538 (184-173)
